THE NECTAR OF THE ALPS

We are at the beginning of the 1900s, in the eastern and central Alps we begin to cultivate the alpine mugwort, a perennial plant, currently a protected species, which produces yellow flowers.

It has two peculiarities: it is grown around 2,000 meters above sea level and is the main ingredient of the Genepy liqueur.

The flowers of Artemisia vulgaris have renowned bittering, aromatic, digestive and balsamic properties.
